Fossil Graphics set to launch the Tribe Media Films website in June, 2010. The site will feature the world premier of the video "Yes" by Kahlind Haynes which was produced, directed and edited by Tribe Media Films.

Designing this website and working with site owner Obie Varnado has been very rewarding to say the least. We set out to develop an interface that would allow quick navigation to Tribe Media's incredible content which features video releases and behind the scenes photos. The whole site design is structured on an accordion using MooTools to facilitate the functionality. In addition, the website had to be capable of high quality video playback, syndicating RSS feeds and connections to popular social networking platforms. Yes and No... I know, I would prefer a yes OR no too. But with this one, there are a lot of answers in between. On one end, there are scads of free stuff everywhere, from free templates as part of your hosting to free CMS software. On the other end are the uber complex, custom websites that only movie studios seem to be able to afford.
